Congressman Bravo mentioned that the Philippine Congress has followed the United Kingdom incorporating alternative nicotine-based products to the framework of the national policy. He also said that the Philippines has adopted a resolution encouraging the Department of Health to promote alternatives and that they should be open to alternatives of compatible quality for the region. He stressed the significance of enlisting the private sector in finding less harmful alternatives.
